Competition

The athletes compete in the Chilean Ski Federation and the Argentine Ski Federation circuits. A selection is also made based on results and technical levels achieved in order to compete in the South American circuit. During the northern hemisphere season, they participate in the NJR, NC, CIT or FIS races held in Italy, in accordance to the level of each of the athletes.

In order for the athletes to be able to participate in the races, they must have the Fechi License corresponding to the Ski Federation of Chile, a requirement to run in our country, and the international FIS License up to date.

The team participates and collaborates with the organization of the SAC South American Cup slalom, developed by the Club Ski La Parva held in September at the ski center.

The team organizes two dates of technical races, in La Parva, that are part of the Chilean Ski Federation circuit.

Results

The team obtained the best result at the South American level during 2019, with more than 40 podiums for its male and female athletes.

The 2020 season was affected by Covid, only one race date corresponding to the National Championship was held, in El Colorado, where our team obtained more than 16 podiums in adults and female, and male youth with 8 different athletes.

In the 2021 season only two races were held in the Metropolitan region and a circuit in Corralco. We were not able to hold the South American Championships, however the team had more than 38 podiums in the season and we held two slalom discipline races, part of the Chile Winter Series circuit, of the Chilean season.
